Hello and Welcome to my website. I'm not one that talks or writes too much about myself, however this page is solely meant for that purpose, so what the heck... here we go!
I received my undergrad from the University of California, Riverside in Business Administration, emphasizing in Marketing. Unlike my brother Fernando Ceballos, I knew my future was in the business world, I just didn’t know exactly what part of the world I'd corrupt first.
While earning my degree I was able to work with marketers from Toyota, Mazda/Hyunday and other major auto companies in analyzing and breaking down their marketing strategies in connecting with today’s young adults and adapting to the new digital marketing world.
While at the University of California, I had the opportunity work with the Athletic department marketing unit which transitioned its athletic program, from Division II to Division I-A. A very important transitioned which pinned the University with elite programs that consisted of UCLA, USC, Cal Berkley and many others, not just athletically, but commercially, having to re-brand and market the University’s status to a new level of exposure and competition.
I Wanted To Be...
I initially wanted to be a sports marketer, working in the trenches of ESPN, breathing, living, sweating and reeking of sports. Unfortunately that did not happen, however I still live, breathe, sweat and reek of sports, but that's a different story.
After a few years in the work force and with over 7 years of sales, marketing and managerial experience I knew I needed a change in my career. Needless to say, my 6am – 7pm shift wasn’t what I was looking for long-term. In 2009, with the success of my brother's business on the rise, my brother and his business partner begged and convinced me that I'd be great addition to the team. So, I joined their business (that's my side of the story). With my years of sales experience and enthusiasm for marketing, adding me to the consulting team was a no brainer.
Today, with over 13 years of sales and managerial experience, and nearly 8 years of Internet marketing experience, I decided to start up my own marketing firm in Sollabec Marketing & Consulting, dedicated to training and working with local business owners in Southern California on redeveloping their marketing strategies, adapting to today’s very dynamic online world and helping them drive new business through the Internet.
